Cook: Pajeri Nenas

Category: food, home

It was a very sleepy & lazy Sunday. Really felt laze in the bed for the rest of the day. Unfortunately, I still have laundry to clear, errands to run etc *sighz* For some reasons, when I get lazy, I don’t feel like eating big meals. I usually opt for light food, but there are nothing in the fridge! argh!!!!!!

I did have canned pineapple and Brahims’s Kuah Pajeri (Parjei Sauce) which I bought recently while in Malaysia, Johor. I bought the sauce because I don’t remember seeing Kuah Pajeri in Singapore Supermarket. So Pajeri Nenas (Pineapple) it will be!

Being a lousy & lazy cook (hmmm .. don’t think I’m can be even considered a cook! LOLz), instant sauce is the way to go for me. This is easy! If slurp! can “cook”, so can you hahahaha …
1. Drained away syrup water of canned pineapple, put pineapple into pot
2. Add Kuah Pajeri
3. Add 100ml water
4. Stir to mix well
5. Heat until it reached desired consistency

I served it along with light Basmatic rice. The Pajeri is a light curry sauce that goes well with fruits. So yummy and (hopefully) healthy! I’m going to buy some more of Kuah Pajeri soon ;)
