Belated Happy New Year 2008
Category: food, travel, life, malaysiaI missed the last sunset on 31 Jan 2007! Oh well, I wasn’t expecting any good sunset considering that it been raining daily for past few days. But it seems 31 Dec 2007 was special, unfortunately, I was still at work. I tried to rush to Kent Ridge Park hoping for good last glimpse of sunset and that all I could catch *sighz*

New Year Eve countdown were widely celebrated around the island this year. From Marina Bay, Mount Faber to as far as Woodlands in the Northern part of Singapore. But this time, I choose not to go mad with the partying crowds. Instead I opt for quiet & relaxing time at home, catching up on some reading, making plans for upcoming 2008. Oh, I had to catchup some work on 1 Jan 2008 as well too, as other people will be coming after those “deliveries” upon returning from their long vacation on 2 Jan 2008! Sweet!
I make up those missed moments with a leisurely trip to Johor Bahru. Savoring Famous Mee Rebus Tulang (Bone Marrow) @ RM6. They like to call Tulang as gearbox, and I got to agree they looked like one LOLz.

And of coz can’t missed their Laksa Johor which looks like a dry version of Laksa.

Have fun “Ogling” at somebody heavily modded Volvo LOLz

Finally, marveling at Nature creation of Nepenthes ampullaria. WOW! these must be au naturale “toilet bowls” for insects!? LOLz

It was a good, albeit, short “oversea” trip. Weather was fine & cooling and it only started to rain after I got back home. Now that’s super SWEET!
!!!BELATED HAPPY NEW YEAR 2008!!!
Cheerio!

Lovely way to spend the last day of the year - quiet and peaceful doing the things you like. Nice record of the food in JB. Cheers!
