oh my, am I blogging about yet another daily meals again?!!! I’m wondering if I should keep this regular, I mean its a great way to introduce Singapore Hawker food right? Hmm … will see how it goes but here are today’s selections. It looks like I’m almost completely gone ducky today hahahaha …….

BREAKFAST
Duck Noodle Soup with egg @ $2.50
Briased Duck with Yellow noodle. Nice presentation. Good soup & tender duck meat. The additional egg cost $0.50

LUNCH
Roast Duck Rice @ $3.00
Good standard roast duck. I enjoyed this, and they provided additional vegetables at no extra cost. Typically standard price of roast duck rice are $3.00 without any extras.

DINNER @ Tiong Bahru
Duck Porridge @ $3.00
Certainly doesn’t looks too appetizing but actually they are ok. Porridge is smooth creamy type. Briased duck meat was good but not well presented. Of coz since we can’t ask for much since we are talking about Hawker food here. Anyway at $3, Duck meat serving is way too small.


Tiong Bahru Chwee Kuay @ $1.50
Chwee Kuay is a kind of steamed rice cake with chopped prevserved radish toppings. The toppings from this stall comes with really wondferful smells of radish, garlic, shallots, spices etc.

Total cost hits exactly @ $10.00!
p.s: I wonder who gonna say this is all very fattening again hehehehe …
