Too Much Heaven doggie
Category: photo, home
Of late, there seems to be terribly lots of doggie post on blogs I frequent. You can find it here, here, here & here! I’m suffering major indigestion from too much *ahem* dog food
Fortunately, I have a perfect antidote for this situation, 以毒攻毒. Yes, I’m going to use poison to counter against poison. So there, I got doggie post up as well too hahahaha … *kidding*
Taken in 2004, these are not my doggie, I don’t have any. They belongs to some friendly owners that I met at a park. Really grateful to them for allowing me to photography their cute & fun doggies.
Oh, I think there is a saying that “All dogs goes to heaven”? Do anybody knows why? No? Try writing the alphabets of DOG in reverse order, I’m sure you find the answer there. Cheers!
Left- Sheltie or Shetland Sheepdog; Right - Maltese

Left - Cocker Spaniel; Right - Miniature Schnauzer

p.s: I’m pretty poor when it comes to identifying dog. Do let me know if I got their names mixed up!

Nice.

Can you share the tricks?
I have a hard time snapping my own dog
Comment by spinnee — May 28, 2006 @ 4:30 pm
hmm not really an expert in pet photography, besides it depends on the dog & its character. but some common rules.
1. no flash: you frighten the poor fellow usually
2. choose a bright spot to photography: unless you got those DSLR,fast lenses; those with compacts camera may have to use a well lit spot for better chance
3. make them comfortable with your camera: perhaps play with them using the camera straps; stick colorful stuffs on camera to attract their attention
4. use reward system: everytime you take snap or two, try to reward them with something nice.
that’s all i can think for now… good luck!
